About the Office of Budget and Planning

Under the direction of the Associate Vice President for Finance, our responsibilities include:

• Coordination of the annual operating budget
• Preparation of the biennial Legislative Appropriations Request
• Submission of annual federal, state, and Texas A&M University System reports
• Management of the tuition & fee rate process and preparation of associated impact studies
• Development and oversight of the university capital plan including major renovation and capital construction projects; modeling the cash flow of multi-year projects
• Participation in the university strategic planning process through the prioritization of budget needs against available funding
• Coordination of policies and procedures with our campus partners

• Offer budget training and assistance with Texas A&M University System data tools
